Terms of Service
Effective and last updated: October 14, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Ahcacy.com (“ahcacy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of our website, applications, and related services (the “Service”).
1. Accepting these Terms
By creating an account, purchasing or starting a trial of Premium, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. The Service is not directed to children.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep it current, and protect access to your account. You are responsible for activity under your account and must promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized use. One person may not impersonate another or create an account for someone else without authority.
3. Premium subscription and initial free period
ahcacy Premium costs $2.50 per month, plus any applicable taxes. A payment card is required to begin a trial. The initial free period is available only to eligible first-time subscribers with no prior ahcacy subscription. Returning subscribers do not receive another free trial.
Premium access begins when eligible signup is completed. The free period lasts until the first day of the next calendar month in the merchant billing timezone; it is not a fixed 30-day trial. Unless you cancel beforehand, the first $2.50 monthly charge, plus applicable taxes, is due on that next first, with subsequent charges on the first of each month. The free signup-month remainder is not charged later. Helcim checkout remains closed until this calendar schedule is verified.
We may change Premium pricing or features with advance notice required by law. A price change will apply no earlier than your next renewal after the notice period.
4. Cancellation
You can stop future Helcim renewals from Settings by selecting “Cancel subscription” and confirming. You retain any remaining trial or paid access through its recorded end date. Cancel before the next billing date to avoid renewal. Previous subscriptions require a controlled transfer; contact support for cancellation help while a previous billing account is awaiting transfer.
Deleting the app, stopping use, or removing a linked financial account does not cancel Premium. If you cannot access the billing portal, contact us before your next renewal.
5. Payments and refunds
Helcim will process new payments and store payment credentials under its own terms once billing opens. You authorize us and Helcim to charge the payment method on file for recurring fees and taxes. If payment fails, we may retry it, limit Premium features, or end the subscription.
Except where required by law, charges are nonrefundable and we do not provide credits or prorated refunds for a partially used billing period. This does not limit any non-waivable refund or cancellation right you may have under applicable law.
6. Receipt scans, financial records, and AI-assisted estimates
The Service may use automated systems and artificial intelligence to read receipts, identify products, and estimate company founding years or other details. These outputs are informational estimates, may be incomplete or wrong, and are not authoritative historical, accounting, tax, legal, or financial records.
You can and should review AI-assisted results before saving or relying on them. You remain responsible for comparing results with the original evidence and correcting receipt items, founding-year estimates, amounts, tax classifications, allocation percentages, and other generated or user-entered data.
Optional year-end reports, CSV files, and evidence packages are organizational aids and supporting workpapers only. They are not tax returns, tax advice, proof that an expense is deductible, or a guarantee that the IRS or another authority will accept a record or deduction. A label such as “business” or “medical” does not establish tax treatment. You must review the rules for the selected tax year and consult a qualified professional when appropriate. The Service does not replace original receipts.
The Service preserves originally captured financial values and an immutable history of user corrections while the record remains in the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of each correction and its stated reason. This history does not replace original receipts, proof of payment, contemporaneous logs, or other substantiation a tax authority may require.
7. Financial-data features
If you choose to link a financial account, third-party providers may supply transaction information used to suggest possible grocery purchases. Matching may be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, or inaccurate. Review each match before relying on it.
ahcacy is not a bank, broker, investment adviser, accounting firm, credit counselor, or money transmitter. The Service does not move money or provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. Your financial institution’s records control if they differ from the Service.
Do not enter Social Security numbers, taxpayer-identification numbers, full payment-card or financial-account numbers, bank login credentials, or similarly sensitive financial details in notes or annotations.
8. Acceptable use
You may not:
- break the law, infringe rights, or use the Service to deceive or harm;
- upload content you do not have the right to use;
- probe, disrupt, overload, bypass, or compromise security or access controls;
- use automated means to scrape or access the Service except as we authorize;
- reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law permits it; or
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without written permission.
9. Your content and feedback
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give us a limited, worldwide license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service and as described in the Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the rights needed to provide it.
If you voluntarily send feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation, but we will not publicly identify you without permission.
10. Our Service and intellectual property
We and our licensors own the Service, including its software, design, branding, and content, except for your content. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the Service.
11. Suspension, termination, and changes
You may stop using the Service at any time, but must separately cancel Premium to stop future renewal charges. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create risk or harm, or if required by law. We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service; when practical, we will provide notice of material changes.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, and warranties arising from course of dealing. We do not warrant that the Service or its estimates will be accurate, complete, secure, uninterrupted, or error-free.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of these provisions may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ahcacy.com and its affiliates, officers, employees, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill, or use. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.
14. Governing law and disputes
California law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you and Ahcacy.com agree to make a good-faith effort for 30 days to resolve the dispute informally by sending a written description to the contact below.
If informal resolution fails, any dispute must be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, United States, and each party consents to those courts’ jurisdiction and venue, except that either party may bring an eligible individual claim in small claims court. Nothing in this section limits rights that applicable consumer law does not allow you to waive.
15. General terms
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms remain effective. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization, asset transfer, or by operation of law.
We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version and update the date above, and will provide additional notice when required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
16. Contact us
Questions, cancellation help, or dispute notices may be sent to:
Ahcacy.comCalifornia, United States
Privacy@ahcacy.com
17. Invitations and identity verification
When verification is enabled, new applicants need an eligible member invitation and an Approved result confirmed by Ahcacy’s server from Didit’s hosted ID/selfie workflow. A browser redirect or pending result does not activate membership. An invitation is reserved temporarily during verification and used only when username setup succeeds; failed or abandoned reservations do not permanently use it. Attempts are limited and declined applicants must contact support for provider review or authorized resubmission. Existing members and the original trusted legacy admission path remain unchanged.
Before starting, read our Privacy Policy and Didit’s verification notices and give the requested consent. Do not send ID documents or selfies to Ahcacy support. Contact Privacy@ahcacy.com for verification and privacy requests. This check does not guarantee one person per account or legal compliance.
18. Prepared private file storage (not yet activated)
Ahcacy has prepared an optional Premium file storage feature that is off by default and will only be activated after owner approval. When active, files you upload are stored with Cloudflare R2, separately from receipts and receipt evidence. Storage is 50 GB total (decimal gigabytes) with a per-file limit shown in the app; space does not reset monthly, does not accumulate, and files are not deleted automatically each month.
Premium includes 50 GB total Files storage with no separate storage charge or overage product when Files is available. The $2.50 monthly membership rate has no automatic end date or price restoration. Existing qualifying memberships move to this rate for future renewals; already-paid periods are unchanged, with no refunds or immediate prorations. Trial eligibility and duration, billing anchors, taxes and cancellation settings are unchanged.
Shares are links or exact-username grants that you can revoke. An optional link password limits access but is not end-to-end encryption, and files are not scanned for malware. If Premium ends, your files are retained so you can still list, download, and delete them while admitted; existing shares are suspended and new uploads and shares are unavailable. Renewed qualifying Premium restores still-active shares; revoked shares stay revoked.
19. Prepared member email feature (not yet activated)
Member email is disabled pending provider, routing and owner approval. It is not an active mailbox or a current delivery guarantee. No change is made to Premium subscription prices, trial qualification, authentication or admission rules.
If activated, member email will be limited to personal plain-text correspondence with recipients who have agreed to receive it. Bulk marketing, unsolicited outreach, impersonation, phishing, harassment, illegal content and attempts to evade quotas are prohibited. Attachments and external email clients are unsupported. We may suspend mail for abuse, bounces, complaints, storage limits or provider restrictions. Provider acceptance does not establish delivery or that a recipient read a message.
Proposed launch behavior requires qualifying Premium for mailbox access, retains existing messages during suspension and permanently reserves former addresses to their original member. Local message deletion does not unsend mail or erase other parties’ copies. Final retention, access and address policies must be approved before activation; the prepared feature is not an archival service or a substitute for essential operational email.
